Earl Durden awarded 2011 Advertising Pioneer Award

For the last 43-years, Earl Durden has been a familiar face in the area ... Constructing signs and ideas for companies all over the Wiregrass. His company created signs ... Sure to bring in customers to a business. This event not only marked the celebration and recognition of Durden, but also was held in a new facility that also showed respect to Durden's career path. “This night is also special because it is the opening of the Durden outdoor history museum, their sign museum, and so we're very proud to be able to present this award to Mr. Durden.” AAF Dothan president Mike Riddle said. “Oh gosh, this is overwhelming. You know, to be in the same sentence as some of the folks that have been the recipient of this award in the past. It's just very humbling.” Award Recipient Earl Durden said.
